Chasing Stripers Amidst Boston's Scenic Shores: An Inshore Fishing Odyssey

We had a fantastic day out on the water with Max, taking him on a Private 5 To 9 Hour Inshore Charter Trip In South Shore with Blueline Fishing Charters. June is a prime time for inshore fishing around Boston, with the Striped Bass really starting to feed aggressively in the warming waters. We met up at 18 Shipyard Dr and got set up for a fun day of deep sea, jigging, trolling, and light tackle fishing. The weather was perfect - partly cloudy, but comfortable all day. The water conditions were great, and we wasted no time getting our lines in. It didn't take long before Max's rod bent over hard - he'd hooked into a nice Striped Bass! The fish put up a great fight, but he kept his cool and landed it like a pro. Throughout the day, we mixed it up, trying different techniques to find the fish. The jigging and trolling were particularly productive, and we managed to boat several more quality Striped Bass. The trip had the perfect blend of steady action and great company. Max was a quick learner and really got into the groove, which made for an awesome day on the water. Between the bites, we had plenty of time to take in the Boston scenery and enjoy the beautiful day. That's what makes these inshore trips so special - it's not just about the fish you catch, but the whole experience of being out on the water, surrounded by good people and great fishing. Adrenaline-Fueled Striped Bass Chase Captivates South Shore Anglers

It was another great day on the water with Andrea, exploring the South Shore for some inshore action. As a Boston native, I always look forward to guiding these trips in June—the weather is usually pleasant, the water is in great shape, and the fish are really active this time of year. We got an early start, meeting up at 18 Shipyard Dr at 7:00 am under a bit of cloud cover, but the rain cleared out quickly, leaving us with comfortable conditions throughout the day. I rigged up some deep sea, jigging, and light tackle setups, and we wasted no time getting lines in the water. The key was covering different depths and working some structure to find the Striped Bass—they've been staging up in preparation for the summer, and we were determined to put Andrea on some quality fish. It wasn't long before her rod doubled over, and she was into her first Striper of the day. The fish put up a great fight, but she kept her cool and got it to the boat. After that, the bite just kept getting better, and we managed to land several more nice Striped Bass using a mix of trolling, jigging, and light tackle presentations. It was awesome to see the variety of techniques paying off, and Andrea was a natural, switching up her approach on the fly to stay on the fish. Overall, it was just an incredible day out on the water. The South Shore scenery was beautiful, the fishing was better than I could have hoped for, and most importantly, Andrea had a blast. If you're looking to experience some of the best inshore fishing the Boston area has to offer, I'd highly recommend booking a Private 5 To 9 Hour Inshore Charter Trip In South Shore with Blueline Fishing Charters. We'll put you on the fish, teach you some new techniques, and make sure you have an unforgettable time on the water. Can't wait to get you out there!

Stripers Staging a Show: Electrifying Inshore Action in Weymouth & Hingham

What a day we had out on the water with Robert and their crew! I always look forward to our Inshore trips this time of year in Weymouth and Hingham. May is a prime season for targeting Striped Bass, and the weather couldn't have been better—partly cloudy skies and great water conditions meant we were set up for a productive day. We got the lines in the water early, mixing it up with some deep sea, jigging, and light tackle techniques to cover different depths and find where the fish were holding. It didn't take long before the rods started bending—the group was into some nice Striped Bass right away. We had a blast fighting those big, powerful fish, watching them come up to the surface and put on a show. The action stayed steady, and we managed to land a nice mix, adding some more Stripers to the box. Even when the bite slowed down a bit, we kept working the water, trying different spots and approaches. The great thing about these Inshore trips is you never know when the fish will turn on again. Sure enough, the action picked back up, and we got into some more quality Striped Bass. Everyone stayed dialed in and patient, and it paid off with some excellent fishing. At the end of the day, we didn't want it to end! The time flew by, and we all had a blast. That's what makes these Blueline Fishing Charters trips so special—not just the great fishing, but the overall experience of being out on the water, taking in the scenery, and enjoying good company. Taming the Surge: An Exhilarating Boston Bluefish and Striper Pursuit

It was an exciting day out on the water with Christian for our Private 5 To 9 Hour Boston Bluefish And Striper Fishing Trip with Blueline Fishing Charters. May is a prime time for inshore fishing around Boston, as the warming waters bring the Striped Bass and Bluefish closer to the shore, making for some fantastic light tackle and deep sea action. We met up at 270 Northern Ave, ready to get out on the water and see what the day had in store. The conditions were just about perfect—partly cloudy skies and calm waters made for a comfortable ride as we headed out. We started off slow, trying a variety of techniques like jigging and trolling, but it wasn't long before the fish started to fire up. Christian's rod suddenly bent hard, and he was into a feisty Striped Bass. After a spirited battle, we got the fish in the boat, and the action just kept building from there. We kept switching up our approach, mixing in some deep sea tactics with light tackle, and the Stripers continued to hammer our baits. All in all, it was exactly the kind of inshore fishing trip that makes Boston such a special destination. The fish were cooperative, the weather was great, and we had a fantastic time on the water. That's what these trips are all about—not just the thrill of the catch, but the entire experience of being out on the water, surrounded by amazing scenery, and enjoying the camaraderie of a fun group. Reel in the Thrill: An Exhilarating Inshore Fishing Expedition on the South Shore

It was a beautiful late-summer day in Hingham, Massachusetts, as we set out with Ian Hernandez and two other guests on a Private 5 To 9 Hour Inshore Charter Trip In South Shore with Blueline Fishing Charters. September is a prime time for inshore fishing around these parts, with the Striped Bass and Bluefish feeding aggressively as the waters start to cool. We had a great mix of techniques lined up, ready to target the various species we might encounter. The skies were partly cloudy, but the water looked fantastic - clear and calm, ideal for the deep-sea, jigging, trolling, and light tackle tactics we had in mind. We wasted no time getting our lines in the water, trying a little bit of everything to see what the fish were keying in on. It wasn't long before Ian's rod bent over, and he was into a nice Striped bass. That fish put up one heck of a fight, stripping line and making some strong runs, but Ian kept his cool and worked it to the boat. We got a few more Stripers in quick succession, along with a couple feisty Bluefish that had the whole crew laughing and cheering. The action stayed steady throughout the day, with everyone getting a chance to wrestle some quality fish. Even though we didn't manage to land any record-breakers, it was still an awesome day on the water. The crew was great, the scenery was beautiful, and we all had a blast just being out there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the company. If you're looking to experience some of the best inshore fishing the South Shore has to offer, I can't recommend Blueline Fishing Charters enough. Whether you're an experienced angler or a total newcomer, this is the perfect way to get out on the water and have an unforgettable time chasing Striped Bass, Bluefish, and more. Book your trip today, and let's go fishing!

Boston Harbor Inshore Report on 17th May, 2024

From On The Water Magazine: Some extra-large stripers have staged up off New Jersey, while more and bigger fish continue to hit New England. Bunker remains scarce, making live-bait acquisition difficult for anglers, but the stripers have seemed happy to focus on herring and rain bait, which has been abundant.
