Weymouth Fore River Fishing Report on 26th Jul, 2026

Rajesh, his son and his buddy came up from NJ and wanted to do some fishing. the crew has been enjoying fresh water fishing and wanted to try some bigger fish. We started in the Boston Castle Island channel. 1 fish was lost on the retrieve, and 1 was landed. Fishing pressure there was heavy early on this Sunday morning making trolling our usual lines difficult. despite a brief flurry of bird activity the sonar showed unremarkable fish activity. I made the decision to return to the Fore River Channel. at first I was worried as a good length of the run was void of fish activity then just prior to the no wake zone a good group was detected and we were on shortly thereafter. a rinse and repeat of the area provided 3 more fish landed, 3 over slots and 2 slots in total for the day. All fish were released alive and well per the customers wishes. as the time drew to a close the fish disappeared as slack tide took hold. we returned to the dock with 3 happy customers.
