The bite was slow for the first hour, but really turned on as the afternoon wore on. soon we were hooking up within 2 minutes of the start of every trolling pass. 8 fish total were landed. 4 were slot keepers and 4 were over-slot and were released alive and well.</div></p>

<p><p><div>After two windy days with small craft advisories this morning was cooler and much calmer. unfortunately our favorite fishing locations of the Fore River Channel and Castle Island Channel seemed mostly devoid of the fish that had been there for weeks. we were fortunate to hook up a double on two Stripers in the Castle Island Channel. 1 slot keeper and 1 oversized. several passes later no more fish were hooked or marked. i nade the decision to head back for one last try at the Fore River Channel. On the way back I spotted a huge number of birds working between Hangman’s Island and Quincy Nut Island.?many boats were present including several other charter boats. A full on biltz was underway with bass swirling. we put our Rockfish Candy Umbrellas out and trolled through the mayem resulting in multiple double hookups. 8 more bass landed, 1 more keeper and a days best 39”er. nice way to end the day </div></p></p>

<p><p><p></p><p></p><p></p><div>After yesterday’s heavy winds things seemed to have calmed down this morning. A small craft advisory continued to be in effect until 2 pm. I made the call to continue with the planned Charter. The Parker 2320 is a very seaworthy small vessel. Winds were moderate at first, but grew stronger as the morning progressed. there was whitecapping of swell. The fish didn’t seem to mind. Two Stripers were landed in quick succession. one slot keeper and one over slot. Not much was marking on the sonar so I made the decision to head for Boston. as we passed Peddocks Island we were hit by 5 foot waves. I made the call to turn around and we returned to the Fore River channel and picked up 3 more, two slot fish and one more 32 inch over slot. </div><p></p><p></p><p></p></p></p>

<p><div>This morning started out calm. we hooked up on a 33” Striper right away. 3 more fush were landed. 1 slot fish just under the 31” maximum and two other over limit, the largest was 35” a number of additional hookups including two double hookups unfortunately resulting in fish getting off. the winds picked up as the morning wore on. At the end of the trip conditions were a full on small craft advisory. </div></p>

Things then slowed down with few fish marking. made the call to burn some gas and run into Boston Castle Island Channel. It was the right call. 3 more landed in quick succession. 1 more slot and 2 over.</div></p>

One for the books today! Charles and I headed out early morning this summer with partly cloudy skies overhead. Water conditions looked solid for our inshore run around Hingham Bay. We got an early start, meeting up at 18 Shipyard Dr at 7:00 am under a bit of cloud cover, but the rain cleared out quickly, leaving us with comfortable conditions throughout the day. I rigged up some deep sea, jigging, and light tackle setups, and we wasted no time getting lines in the water. The key was covering different depths and working some structure to find the Striped Bass—they've been staging up in preparation for the summer, and we were determined to put Andrea on some quality fish.

That fish put up one heck of a fight, stripping line and making some strong runs, but Ian kept his cool and worked it to the boat. We got a few more Stripers in quick succession, along with a couple feisty Bluefish that had the whole crew laughing and cheering. The action stayed steady throughout the day, with everyone getting a chance to wrestle some quality fish.

Even though we didn't manage to land any record-breakers, it was still an awesome day on the water. The crew was great, the scenery was beautiful, and we all had a blast just being out there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the company.
