Striped Bass

It was a beautiful late-summer day in Hingham, Massachusetts, as we set out with Ian Hernandez and two other guests on a Private 5 To 9 Hour Inshore Charter Trip In South Shore with Blueline Fishing Charters. September is a prime time for inshore fishing around these parts, with the Striped Bass and Bluefish feeding aggressively as the waters start to cool.

We had a great mix of techniques lined up, ready to target the various species we might encounter. The skies were partly cloudy, but the water looked fantastic - clear and calm, ideal for the deep-sea, jigging, trolling, and light tackle tactics we had in mind. We wasted no time getting our lines in the water, trying a little bit of everything to see what the fish were keying in on.

It wasn't long before Ian's rod bent over, and he was into a nice Striped bass. That fish put up one heck of a fight, stripping line and making some strong runs, but Ian kept his cool and worked it to the boat. We got a few more Stripers in quick succession, along with a couple feisty Bluefish that had the whole crew laughing and cheering. The action stayed steady throughout the day, with everyone getting a chance to wrestle some quality fish.

Even though we didn't manage to land any record-breakers, it was still an awesome day on the water. The crew was great, the scenery was beautiful, and we all had a blast just being out there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the company. As for Flounder that was also unfortunately Strike 3. water temps reading about 48 degrees. needs to warm up about 2 more degrees for the Flounder.</div>

We're here to report back to you on the fishing conditions in Boston, MA this week. We had a great time out on the water with Captain David Horte of Blueline Fishing Charters, and we caught a ton of striped bass (and we even got to see a dolphin!).

The weather was perfect—it was a little bit cloudy, but there wasn't any rain or wind. It got up to about 75 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, and then cooled down to about 65 at night.
